At the beginning of the year I mentioned the sermon series from Mars Hill Church on 1 & 2 Peter. Its been going on for several months now and it has been great. Here is a little clip from one of the sermons. I hope that it will pique your interest to check out more of the series...

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a lovely, relaxing day. Jeff and I have three mothers and though we only saw one that day, we know we are lucky and we love all our mothers very much!

See Big Airplane?

Jeff works one Saturday a month, so on weeks where that happens he gets a weekday off. Last week, he took Tuesday off and we decided to take the kids on an outing as a family. We ended up taking them to the Aerospace Museum at McClellan AFB. They had a great time looking at all the big airplanes, getting to go inside some and just running around on the big blacktop freely (there was only one other family there). There's a nice playground across from the parking lot with a huge rocket-shaped play area. It was a nice morning outing...finished off with lunch at Cheesecake Factory. Yum!
