Father's Day

Father's Day was a fun day! We went to the Roane's (Jeff's sister and brother-in-law's) for a barbeque. Another of Jeff's sisters, Jenn, and her husband and kids were visiting from Kansas, so it made for quite the party. In total, there were 14 kids present, all 8 and under. So it was awesome! The boys loved playing with their cousins, sliding down the water slide and playing ball with their uncles. Poor Miss Lola spent most of the time taking naps. That's what happens when you're only 22 months...no one wants to risk what would happen without that nap! Wish we could've gotten a picture with all the kids together...oh well, maybe next time.

Daddy and Lola.

If you're going to have a house-full of kids during the summer, you must have one of these. The Roanes are well-prepared.

Daddy giving Jackson a toss!

Lola and Daddy sharing some ice cream.

This much chocolate covered the boy after only one little cookie. That's got to be talent.

The maxi dress. Don't leave home without it. (And that's a wet spot from a bathingsuited child sitting on my lap...not an accident.) :)

And group shot of the little girls...though one little girl didn't want to participate. Typical.

No More Pre-School

Lincoln had his last day of pre-kindergarten on Friday, June 5th. For me at least, the year flew by! Lincoln did fantastic and we are amazed at how much he learned over these last 9 months. We were sad to say good-bye to Lincoln's awesome teacher, Mrs. Mauer. Her patience with all these little children is truly a gift from God (as everything good is). Lincoln was so blessed to be able to attend this school and we're excited to see what Kindergarten brings.
