Lincoln is 6!

Saturday, September 26th Lincoln turned 6 years old. We can hardly believe it was that long ago that we first saw the face of this precious little blessing. Six years later I realize more and more what an honor it is for God to have entrusted us with this little life, and with the lives of his brother and sister. It is a big job that God has given us to shape and direct these little ones in God's ways. Thankfully, He is there to help and direct us along the way through His magnificent Word, through the discipling of Jeff and I, and through the outpouring of His grace on us daily.

We celebrated Lincoln's day by taking a trip to Toys R Us as a family to spend some birthday money he and Jackson had received. That evening, we went to the Bouterie's to celebrate Lincoln's birthday with family. Grandpa got he and Jackson huge rubber band airplanes and later on Lincoln got a remote control airplane that he'd been asking for for months! He had a great and very blessed day. Whew! Birthday season is over! :)

Boys' Kid Party

On Friday, September 25th, we had a party for Lincoln and Jackson with their friends and cousins at Wacky Tacky. It is a great place for kids with a huge, indoor, padded jungle gym. They had a blast! So did Jeff actually, who spent the entire time inside the jungle gym chasing the kids. It was a fun day.

Jacky-Boy Turned 4!

Sunday kicked off our "birthday week" with Jackson turning 4. We had a small breakfast party with grandparents, aunt and uncles. Jackson loved it and had a great day! We are now neck-deep in superheros, transformers, and Star Wars guys...boy heaven. Great way to start off the week. On Friday we have a joint party for Jackson and Lincoln at Wacky Tacky and then Lincoln will officially be 6 on Saturday. The years just keep ticking by...
