Easter

Easter this year was gorgeous! The weather was so perfect and beautiful and even though we crammed a lot into the day, it was actually relaxing and fun! We got up early and went to church and had a lovely brunch at the Bouteries. There, the boys played in the yard while Lola took a quick nap and Daddy played "Guitar Hero" with the big boys. So funny! After that, we headed over to Great Grandpa and Grandma Harris' for an easter egg hunt and early dinner. The kids did more playing outside in the beautiful weather. As early evening approached we had one last stop for the day so we went to Great Grandpa and Grandma Fullers' to see Jeff's family. The kids had MORE fun playing outside with their cousins. It was a full day, but totally fun.

I do regret that more time wasn't spent reflecting on why we celebrate Easter. The whole world was created for this one cosmic event, where Jesus Christ was sent to bear the punishment we deserve, conquering death by being crucified and raising again just so that some of us could live forever with Him. Luckily, we do spend time reflecting on that and talking about it everyday. We are so thankful to God for everything He has done.

Our three little monkeys walking out of church together.

Jackson and Lola holding hands. So precious!

Trying to get a cute picture of the three of them in their Easter clothes. Of course, ruined by the fact that Lola insisted on keeping her blanky and Eeore.

One of the millions of chocolate candies Jackson ate throughout the day.

Brunch!

Beautiful table!

Princess Lola and her princess ball.

The whole fam.

Lola wanted to be photographed alone and didn't want to cooperate when others were in the picture. Uh, where'd she get that!?!

Easter egg hunting...

So exhausted from a long day! Lola got a little cat-nap in before playing at the Fullers'. Luckily, it was enough to give her a second wind.

Please Watch This!

Saw this marriage testimony and thought it was another awesome example of how God pursues His people and uses all things for good and for His glory. Please let me know what you think after you've watched.

Little Doll

Lola is showing that being a girly-girl is what she was born to be! She loves to dress up. Her favorite thing to wear is her leopard-fur coat, which she has taken to pairing with Lincoln's underwear and Jackson's tennies. Think we need to get her some princess clothes to dress up into? Yeah, instead of her brothers' underwear!

New Faucet

Ah, the things that are exciting in life ... so small, yet so huge! Jeff installed a new faucet on Saturday in our kitchen and it looks so nice and works so great! The boys enjoyed watching, though they were anxious for him to be done so they could go outside and play basketball on our new hoop.

Trip to the Snow

On January 31 we took the kids to the snow. We found a spot just off the freeway where there was fresh snow and no other people. The boys had a blast! Lola hated it at first, but we brought our sand toys and she enjoyed shoveling snow into a bucket. It was a fun little outing.

Jeff's Birthday!

Jeff turned 30 on January 28th. Yikes! He's old! I figured what better day to visit Jeff at work with the kids and embarrass him? Happy birthday Daddy! :)

Happy Birthay Lisa and Adam

I haven't done much with our blog in a while ... so here's me getting caught up. Back to January 5th, when my brother Adam and I celebrated our birthday. He's 26 now and I'm, *gulp*, 29! Happy birthay to us!
